Furthermore, it is essential you ask for the Catholic Chaplain when in hospital as Chaplain is often no longer automatically given the names of Catholic Patients by the NHS. To Contact the Chaplain of Sandwell Hospital you must first contact the Hospital Switchboard giving the patients name and ward details. The Switchboard number is 0121 553 1831. The Chaplain of City Hospital is Fr John Baptiste and his number is 0121 558 1065.
